91 Escort LX
A friend of mine has a 91 Escort LX with a 1.9 it has been sitting in her garage for about 7 years. She use to start it once a month until about 2 years ago when the battery died. The problem is now she wants to get it running for a friend.
With a new battery it will turn over but will not start. I put gas in it. I suspect the fuel pump is bad or the relay is. What I noticed was that when I put in the new battery and turned the key on the fuel gage went to full and then back down. Have any ideas what this could be?
