91 Escort LX makes a buzzing sound
The other night I drove my car for maybe 5 minutes, parked it, went back to it 15 minutes later and I go to start it and there is a buzzing sound coming from somewhere (it sounds like the alarm that comes on when the door is open). It doesn't even try to turn over.
This sound always comes on when I press on the brake and use the power locks as well. I also can't shift out of park, as it just buzzes when I brake. I tried getting a boost to no avail. Any clue as to what it could be?
A mechanic buddy of mine is going to look at it, but he is quite busy and it's taking a while for him to get to my car. Was hoping it could be an easy fix but it doesn't sound like it.
