i have done some research and i have found that a 93escort has the same motoras a 93 miata..and i was just wondering if anyone knows if there has ever been a rotary swapped into a miata, and if so would that be able to be done on this ford...it sounds like it will work, but i want to see if anyone has actually seen it done

Ummm good question. But, wouldn't you also have to change the Escort into a rear wheel drive car ? I've have never seen a Mazda rotary engine in a front wheel drive car.

Choice of 13B twin turbo rotary or lexus v8 in an Miata (MX5 here in Australia)...
