I have a 98 Ford Escort that cranks but won't start. the CCRM is making a loud buzzing sound with the ignition on, could this be the prob? I have no injector pulse , no spark, and the fuel pump is not coming on.

It sound like to me that you may have a Broken/Snapped Timing Belt.
Do you have a Check Engine Light on? (CEL) If so check for the Error Code.
Your symptoms sound common to a Broken Timing Belt
