98 Wagon Brake Shudder

Car Was Fine. Sat For A Few Weeks Now It Shudders Like Crazy. Checked The Front Pads They Are Fine. Rear Brakes Were A Little Grabby But They Seem Fine Now. Tried Driving Fast And Slamming Them On To Try To Get Rid Of Any Rust. Any Ideas What To Check Or Do?

Re: 98 Wagon Brake Shudder

The shudder that you are describing, does it happen when you are applying the brakes or when you are driving down th road

Re: 98 Wagon Brake Shudder

it only happens when i apply the brake. under 40mph it's not really noticable, but it's there, and over 50mph it's really bad escpecially if you have to brake hard.

Re: 98 Wagon Brake Shudder

Rotors probably have imbedded rust spots on them and may be due for replacement.
