How do you replace the bulb on the center mount brake light? Do I remove the plastic casing in the rear window (and how)? I looked in the trunk and there are wires but the hole isnt large enough for a bulb to pull through.

Wow, I've never seen those retainers removed like that. It looked like they broke it in two and had to replace it. I didn't have the volume turned on so maybe they said that.
I've always pried out the centerpart with a knife or dental pick. The center part only need to pull out a little ways, then they will come out together.

To Remove:

Remove the retainers located on the side of the light cover.

Remove the cover and detach the bulb socket from the assembly.

Remove the bulb from the socket.





To install:

Install the bulb in the socket.

Install the socket in the lens.

Install the cover and tighten the retainers.
