confused Advice on convertable Capri's

My wife and I are looking for a cheap second car and the convertable Capri's (not the classic ones) are an excellent option.
I was wondering if anyone here had any advice?
Thanx in advance!

Thumbs up Re: Advice on convertable Capri's

I am a 1992 Capri owner. I have owned it 2 years.
Goes "Great". Takes the wife & 2 kids & has Huge boot for car type. Handles well with good tyres
(I use Dunlop FM 901 195/60HR14)
I get around 8/100 on Premium unleaded.
An electric window winder burnt out & is $350 to replace!!!!

email me direct for more info.

You'll luv it I reckon .........

Regards

Re: Advice on convertable Capri's

I have a 91 capri... one thing I can say is look for one with a hardtop... I have one... Great during winter and just take it off during summer... they go well... got laser mech. turbo versions will be better and steer clear of the sohc version... Great on fuel (my DOHC gets around 550-600 hwy kays off 40ltrs.)

Cheers

Ben

Re: Advice on convertable Capri's

yeah i like them. You hear people giving them crap because they leak. But like GhiaEB said, get a hardtop and you weill be right.

I love the look of the clubsprint version too, very sporty IMO.

Re: Advice on convertable Capri's

They do leak even with the hardtop... but it's only a matter of alignment... Just some fiddleing with a hose and they are all good.... If you just wack the hardtop on she'll leak only a lil but still.

Cheers

Ben
