Bathurst winning RS500's

Can someone please tell me what the twice bathurst winning Sierra Cosworth RS500's were putting out for power and what engine they used. Very interested in Cossies and I dont really know that much about them. Wasnt Old enough to Be interested in motorsport in the late 80s!

cool rs500

So this will be what your looking for

http://www.nickpeat.hostinguk.com/sierrars500.htm

the road car performance was just a bit better than standard and they came in only black !!!!

there were a few who paid the optional money to get white but they are very very very rare

A good example today is about £15,000 to £18.000 but a serious low millage will be a lot more

Thumbs up RS500

Cobra, these cars had over 600 hp for qualifying, but raced with less (around 500).392 black road cars were built by Tickford,52 Moonstone blue and 56 White cars.Race cars were built from motorsport shells with no sunroof and roadcar "bits" left off.I estimate that there were at least 500 motorsport shells produced. There is an Eggenberger RS500 engine in the Discovery Centre at Geelong.
