brake problem

first post so go easy guys, got a 1998 escort gti problem is when I come to a halt at low speeds there is a sort of springing noise coming from the brake system (poss the abs set up) can also feel brake pedal pulsing just when coming to a stop, this only happens when stopping at low speeds with light brake pedal use, no problem when stopping from higher speeds.

any feedback would be appreciated, cheers!

Re: brake problem

Hi
Assuming the ABS light is not coming on and/or it has been scanned for codes and nothing was found, check all wheel speed sensors and connectors for contamination (dirt, grease from a CV boot leaking and so on) or if one of them is actually contacting the tone wheel (i've seen damaged tone wheels, loose sensors, excessive play in bearings, etc. cheers
