Re: buying RS2000

Hi everyone, just to let you know that I managed to get a 79 RS2000 on monday, pretty good nick only one small rust spot and is all standard except for 14" wheels and the exhaust. The interior is very good although the passenger seat material is starting to come apart. I am looking to buy original lenses for all lights the ones with the little RS letters on them and if anyone has an aircon for sale too (complete) also the pads on the front armrests (black) and lastly if anyone is wrecking an escort I am chasing the rh side false filler cap as mine has been welded up and painted over so I would like to get enough of the panel to be able to cut and shut an original one in. thanks Stropp

Re: buying RS2000

Hi EBXR , at the moment I'm just getting it running ok, fixing oil leaks etc then will buy a cam and twin webbers and maybe a head job when I get the gear together but no hurry at this stage, could be a few months depending on when I can pick up the parts for the right price.
