fordescortmom Registered User Join Date: Aug 2010 Posts: 2	bypassing the shifter on a 2000 ford escort Today my SHIFT INTERLOCK SOLENOID went out I can by pass it but how long will that last its gonna cost 250 to fix if any one has had any trouble with thiers how long did you bypass it??
