Question Castor on KH

Hi,
Can anyone help with what needs to be done to a KH laser re castor adjustment after lowering suspension. Do you need a special castor kit etc and what sort of price would be incured.
Cheers

You can buy offset caster bushes. They replace the rear bushes in the lower control arms & are very easy to fit. They come in various offsets from 1/2 degree up to 2 degrees & cost about $50. Superpro & Nolathane make them. You may also need the buy adjustable camber kits if it's lowered. Mal.

Thanks Mal, I got my wires crossed I meant camber. How much and how easy to fit. Also is it necessary to do the camber just because it been lowered or does that not need to be done.
Cheers

Clive

Hey Clive,
You can buy camber kits. They are offset bolts with eccentric washers & they go in the top hole of the 2 bolts that hold the strut leg to the hub assembly.
Lowering a car makes the camber more negative (in at the top) & will cause excessive tyre wear. They handle great but tyres won't last. Not sure of the cost but you could try Repco & someone similar or your local suspension shop. Mal.
