Cortina's

Anyone out there with a Cortina. I have owned a few of these.Dam fine cars too.

Yeah I had a 250Xflow corty. Don't think these ones are the ones in europe though so I doubt im any help on the english cortys.

I drove a couple of those 6cyl corty's.Only saw auto ones but they went well.You're right i think it was pretty much just the body shell that is the same. Front susp was similar with falcon rear end and engine.Do you have pic's cobra as i'm sure people from Europe would be interested.

They had to reengineer the suspension to accomodate the larger 6 cylinder engine. I think it had a problem with too much weight at the front and the weight/weight was to much at the front. I never took pics of the corty but I got a mk1 escort 1980 model 1.6L atm. Ill see about getting that up in the showroom of the aussie bit soon.
