Does anyone know how much they sell in Australia? How much did that one cost you buy plus the mods Big Block Ford?

you're right it's not mine tho i wish it was.I just posted some pic's in this section to drool over. I used to have a cossie sierra. I've just recently seen a 97 escort cosworth with full leather for sale in NZ for $45000.00. I'm not sure of the value in Aus but I guess it would be similar to NZ.Do you ever see many in Australia cobra.Escorts or Sierra Cosworths. I have driven quite a few fast cars and the only car that has felt as potent as the Serria has been a evo v5.

Ive only ever seen one siera cosworth at a ford exotic and imported club meeting which was at philip island as well as mkII? escort and a few v8 capri GT's. I have howver seen a few rs2000 go around with some nice sounding mods incliding Blow off Valves but i guess there are a few of them around. Not sure how much though you got a clue BBF how much they are in NZ a rs2000. wouldnt mind getting a sierra cosweoth ir mk escort as big blocks and 351s tend to eat too much fuel.

I've hardly seen any RS2000's here in NZ but I will check some magazines.Cosworths are not too hard to find here tho as quite a number were imported. The Sierra Cosworth RS500 is still the rare model that holds it's value ,thats the Bathurst racing model, and they are still in the $25000.00 to 45000 range depending on originality and condition but the sierra sapphire cosworth which is the model I had is more plentiful and you can pick up a good 2wd model for 13000 to 20000 or the 4x4 model for 18000 to 35000 .The Sapphire is the model after the RS500 but it changed to 4 door instead of the 2 door hatch. I'll rack up some pic's. You won't be dissapointed with one as mine had excellent fuel economy and loads of power with potential for heaps more.Cosworth parts are expensive tho as they are pretty much racing equipment. If you have trouble finding one in Aus and you want to try NZ then I can help out no prob's.

Thanks Big Block Ford. Looks like I'd be spending money on mods instead of spenidng on fuel if I had a 351. Theres just no way getting round expenses is there. AH well. I'll have to shop around for the best deals but I guess a Corty or mk1 escort will do me for the moment.

Do you have many capri's in Aus as there was a 3 litre V6 model that came out which is in the same bracket as corty's escorts etc and they are nice when done up and go like hell with nice sound etc.I have often thought about one.
