Newbie here!!!!
Ok, start the car up and battery light comes on and the temp gauge goes over the red! Undone the temp sensor plug started the car back up and no battery light temp gauge doesn't work!
Put a new temp sensor in(Black type) and started the car up walked round to the front and it went BANG
Went to an auto electrician and he said it could be the dash dials, i went home and tried this swapped them with another set and i still have the same problem.
I need help, the car is a 1.6 zetec 16v petrol 1998 R reg escort.
