Re: Engine Suggestions for KC Hatch

a turbo engine would be a staight swap with a front cut but in reality it would be cheaper to just sell your car & buy a TX3 Turbo Sorry

Re: Engine Suggestions for KC Hatch

Yeah I know it doesn't really make sense but I've gotten attatched to this little car and have it just the way I want it. I know the turbo'd engine has to be out of a mazda, is there any in particular thats pretty much a straight swap over with minimal amount of mods or am I in way over my head here. Also if I did this would it have to be engineered. Cheers

Try a later 323, the 1.8 will get a light KC moving nicely & be pretty cheap

A 1.6 (b6t) will bolt straight up to a kc laser
however the 1.8 requires more work and effort to get in there and will cost a fair bit more
You could probly get a 1.6t in the kc up and running for around 3grand if you do it urself.

Yeah what he said...

The B6T is a and easy plug n play...

Dropping in the BPT is a more difficult, expensive venture but worthwhile :D
