Hey all im new to the forums and would like to mod my escort
I have a ford escort mk2 1600van wit 32/36 webbers and extractors but would like to do more mods like working the engine or puting twin 45mm webbers just a few things
1 Wat have u dun to your escort?
2 Where can i get my motor worked from in sydney?
3 Can i turbo the Eskie? how much?
4 Can 45mm webbers fit or will the brake booster be in the way?
5 Has anyone got any other mods that i can do to it?
6 Anyone selling performance parrts ect?

the best bang for ur buck would be a 2 lt conv. the mods that u have on u 1600 are the same as what i have on my daily atm. i also have a 2lt with twin 40's o/s valved cam ported exhaust etc etc and will be making decent power. this is an easy conv the radiator shroud has to be cut out but the rest is very straight forward. a turbo will be expensive and not worth it with carbs. an injection setup form a sierra will bolt on to a 2lt then a turbo can be looked at. twin 45's on a 1600 will need brake booster mods or a custom manifold. hope this helps.
