Escort mark2 Tail light rubbers
Hello , Iam restoring a 1979 Mark2 Escort .It is 98% complete. But I am lacking decent tail light Rubber Seals. I have been offered "repro" items but quite frankly they are garbage. There is no way that these things can be made to fit properly and no way they could seal without using bucket loads of silicone. Does anyone have a spare set of the original tail light rubbers ( a sealed sponge rubber item ) or perhaps know of a part supplier that has stocks of them, or even a supplier of the correct section in strip form so that I may make my own? I hope that this is not too big an ask. Any help would be appreciated.
