Hey, just wondering what times you escort boys have run down the quarter, could you please post up times and list mods. Also could anyone who's had their escort on the dyno let me know how much power they made and what mods you've done.

I ran a 13.4@106mph. Crappy take off and untuned. Should have done a 12 second pass, but i only got one run. On the dyno it made 99kw@the wheels. This was on 15psi with a blown head gasket and the cam was out.

RSWEPN has a 2L pinto turbo in a mk2 esky. (plz correct if wrong)

A worked 2L N/A with twin carbs, big valves, ported, cam, exhaust & extractors, few other bits and peices will see 120-150hp at the engine. This will see a high 16 sec to a low 15 sec 1/4 mile time. all dependent on what set up u have etc etc.

I never realized people were that into modding escorts.
It was always the joke over here with the mid 80's escorts if you turn the a/c on while driving, the car dies due to lack of power.
My car's just my daily driver beater until my Probe gets running, currently doing a atx-mtx swap and some body work to prepare for new paint. It should see mid 14's with minor bolt ons.
