Ford to bring back the Capri

In the Motor mag it says that Ford will be bringing back the Capri and it will have similar looks to the original car.
The most exciting thing about it is that it will be AWD with a Turbocharged 2.0 litre with 261Kw. :s6:
It'll eat a WRX and a EVO for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

Mmm - there's still a few old names left -

Customline could replace the Fairlane (chrome tailfins optional)

Super Pursuit - wasn't actually a model but referred to a whimpy engine - could be used for the next SR model.

Galaxie - no, not the AU Blue colour. Could replace the Fairmont Ghia plate.

Escort - assuming this name hasn't been tainted by the professional dating services it would make a nice replacement for kA (and stop everyone from being confused).

.. I won't go on shall I !!

ford should bring back the old 1970/71 capri with the V6, they were good looking, went well and the engine bay was big enough to fit any size V8

seeing 1 last sunday brought back great memories of when i had mine

Bring back the CApri I say,

My girl friend nearly had a heart attack when I told her that they might be bringing it back. She said you mean we are going to spend all this money on the 1970 V8 Fuel injected capri and we will then go and have to buy the new AWD turbo 4pot.

I of course replied "MY FARKING WORD" I think her reply was something like over my dead body. What is it with Girls (most Girls.....the ones that visit this forum excluded) they have no sense of adventure these days.

Maybe it could be I just can't help myself when it comes to Capris I just can't get enough.
