I didn't see a category for Escort on the front page so figured I would just post here.

I was wondering if anyone has had a knocking noise .. Kind of like a clicking noise a soft clicking like the rocker arm lifter. Have adjusted one of them it was lose but did not seem to change anything. It is not often its just every once and a while. It is a 1993 Ford Escort, 53,000 ACTUAL miles. Is coming from around the valve area, not sure of what it could be.

Any imformation or suggestions would be great!

Possible worn cam/lifter, reset all clearances and retest.
