Update: I checked power to the coil pack and the center wire (forgot the color) is powered but the neither one of the other 2 have anything while cranking the engine. I am thinking they should which would lead me to think it has something to do with a sensor. Anything related to this on the trans????

When you say nothing on the other 2 wires, did you have the test light clipped to the positive battery terminal when checking these 2 circuits while cranking??? Did you leave the Camshaft Position Sensor disconnected by chance???
