G'Day Fellas,
I've got a Ford Lazer SR 1.8L KQ, and as much as i love it, I have to admit it has NO BALLS. I was thinking about what to do to increase Speed and Torque and minimal cost. I was thinking Turbo Conversion, but then you'd have to change Manifolds, purchase Intercoolers, Turbo, Cold Air Inductions, Full Exhust Kit, Pod Filters, Strenghtening the Engine, etc. etc. This setup will cost at least $6000 to $8000. I was wondering if you guys could help me out in finding something around the $2000 mark for performance?

for $2000 Id say you could get some headers, exhaust, CAI.

I honestly dont know much about moddeding a laser. But for $2000 your not going to be able to do more than what I said. Maybe some form of chip might help.

There is a site called www.fordlaser.com which could help you out more than here I suspect.

Thanks FoMoCo, I'm gonna leave her stock. I think when XR6T come to the $25K mark ill pick one up. And trade the little Lazer SR beauty in. At this stage just saving for XR Turbo Packages.
