I have a laser which we have put a twin cam motor in.
ie 93 KH laser 4 door 1.6ltr single carb single cam replaced by 1.8ltr efi dohc extractors and exhaust with stock cat out of 92 KF TX3
What I would like to know is, does it have to be engineered and if so how do I find out what the engineer is looking for etc.
Any help would be appreciated.

what state are you in and was this car released with this mtr as well or something similar
KH TX3 had the 1.8DOHC as standard, so shouldn't be a problem. Mechanically identical as far as brakes etc. Use the original 1.6 engine number and it becomes a head swap only.................. Illegal, but who cares?

well if thats the case it is a owner certified engine swap as model had this in it you only need a ajustment of records at your local auvis (blueslip) station about 16 bucks i think
