As the title says, I need help finding the location of and being able to identify the clutch master cylinder on my ford escort. I've done research and it appears to be going bad. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. A video that shows the location would be ideal

not being smart but it is attached to the clutch pedal so look from there.

Well, I'm also aware that it's attached to the clutch pedal. It's also attached to the brake fluid reservoir, since it uses the same fluid as the brakes. But I would have to take a bunch of stuff out to actually be able to know that I'm following the clutch fluid line properly. I also don't want to accidentally replace the brake master cylinder or some other random part that happens to be part of the clutch line.

It is on the firewall, below the brake master cylinder and shares the fluid of the brake master cylinder so it does not have screw on cap.
