Well, I'm also aware that it's attached to the clutch pedal. It's also attached to the brake fluid reservoir, since it uses the same fluid as the brakes. But I would have to take a bunch of stuff out to actually be able to know that I'm following the clutch fluid line properly. I also don't want to accidentally replace the brake master cylinder or some other random part that happens to be part of the clutch line.
