How to Mod a KF TX3?

Hi all,

I'm new to this site, but great to see a few TX3 fans out there...

I have a 1990 KF Laser TX3 (N/A 1800 DOHC, FWD, 5spd manual) I am using for normal street driving but am hoping to have some club-level motorsport happening soon - just wondering if anybody here has raced one before? What I'm hoping for is info on the following:
- what the easiest way to extract a few extra horsepower? At present the motor is stock except for 2.25 inch exhaust and extractors plus a high-flow cat...
- any tips for better handling, suspension mods, wheel sizes and so on?

I am loving driving this thing - it is still a very quick car even 18 years since new, but it would be great to gain just a little extra oomph for dirt and tarmac sprints.

Cheers - thanks for your help...
