Hey everyone. I have an 88 Laser Hatchback, 5 speed manual. Just the other day something weird happened and I don't know how to fix it. I was driving down the road with the car running perfectly normal, then I pulled into a shopping centre. Came back to my car reversed out and when i went to put it in 1st again the gear stick was really tight and really hard to move. I have to force it into gear but it never crunches. I also noticed that there is extra pressure on the motot as well as in it has to work harder to do the same job. Also when i go to turn, when the wheels get to about half lock the car fully starts to jolt and shudder.

Does anyone know what is going on or how or what to fix?

Any help would be much appreciated

check the engine and gearbox mounts
