So the timing belt snapped on my 1999 ford escort se

Is it an interference motor or not?

@noid: they probably need to know what size motor you have.

EDIT: ok, maybe not, all SEs should have the 2.0L CVH (according to the great wikipedia)

and while we're on the topic (not trying to threadjack), same question on a 96 escort with the 1.9L?
