confused laser

hi people
i just bought a 2nd hand laser a very clean little unit and would like to do a bit of work on it just to soup it up a bit. If any other members could offer a little advice as to what i could do it would be greatly appreciated as i have no motoring skills what so ever.

it's a 92 model 5 door hatch 1.6 16 valve,if you could just offer some advice as to what i could do plus a rough estimate on the sort of costs any work would be great thanks.

It's all about personal choice.

I'd get the car running 100% first, get the windows tinted, and then upgrade the stockers steering wheel. Then depending on how much I liked the car, and how long I was going to keep it for would determine my next set of mods. But that is what I would personally do. If I really wanted a different car, I'd be saving my pennies up to get that, and using this as a cheap getaround.
