Can anyone tell me what the automatic gearbox is that was fitted to Mk1 Capri 3000 GT's is?

i believe that it is a borg warner 35. A mate of mine has a MK 1 escort with that auto in it, and i think the capris had the same.

I believe that the 4cyl Capri's had the Borg Warner 35 & the V6's were fitted with the C3 Transmission (that's C3 not C4).

Finally found a shop manual with it in it all were the Borg Warner 35.
