you've got to be kidding me?

header for the zetec? carbon fiber hood?

damn, where was all this support for the probe!? i mean, ford had the escort dead in the water until the zx2 premiered and kept it alive. they had the focus all set to replace it. :?:

that would be pretty cool though. one of my brothers has a 98zx2 and i've been trying to get him to mod his car since he bought it. :D

well, the big job is geting the frationalized escort owners to come together.. but the zx2 zetech ( only) is a Ukl spec YB from the same family as the cossey RS 2000 YBT engine, ford north america got to it and decammed, de compressed and detunned the hell out of it to drop the UK spec HP from 170 to 130. As well ( only on the ZX2 ) the tranny is a type BC from the puma/escort/ka UK so their is allot of heritage in the engine, the problem becomes finding the right parts from the UK that will work. Up here in Canada the probe did poorly but the zx2 did so well they pulled it from Canada all together, it was out selling the zx3 3-1 and 5-1 in some places..
