ok well i got my hands on a 93 escort wagon and i was wondering a few things... now are all the 93 escorts (different trim) the same bolts (like fenders and bumpers and such) ... like for example would i be able to the a GT front bumper and put it to my wagon???

Also.... one BIG question i have for you.... i was told that the focus rwd conversion might work on the escort wagon? is this true???

AND.... how interchangable are all ford parts.... (engines and trannys) like could i take a bronco engine and fit it into my escort... (i mean i know anything is possible but how possible is it.... what kind of engines would fit into my escort???

sorry if these are stupid questions but im new to the ford world... never worked with one before and know nothing about them.... although i know a thing or 2 about GM's

Most panels are interchangable. Of course there are going to be a few that will not.


have no idea. Never done it. I have seen other escorts that have been made into RWD, but cant say that I have seen what you are asking.

Well you have to understand the limitations of your car too. Anyone can shoehorn in anything. As far as what are interchangable, for the right $ anything is.

I am sorry that you have to deal with GMs.

well do you know of anyone that could help me out with any of this... i mean money isnt a big issue... too a certain extent... but all i wana know is what i am getting my self into... i have a bronco engine sitting around... would it be possible to drop that in with little trouble?....

lol i love GM's man... best cars on this planet... but i figured i needed something else along with my 2 pontiacs and jeep so .... escort it is haha!

Eww pontiacs are the worse. Please tell me you dont own a sunbird. I can live iwth a first gen fbody or an original GTO, but anything else is just trash. BTW I used to run GMForums.com as well. haha. You can see where that is compaired to this site. Pretty much sums it up for their cars too.

yea i got a fiero and a grand am .... fieros rule but.... as for the grand am i dont know what to say lol, its all good just a daily driver!... i guess ill just try things out and see what i can do..... seems like im heading for a really hard project.... but thats what i need

its all opinion man :D... i love them more than anything... i guess its all in how you drive... pontiacs have been my first nd basically only car i have owned... other than the jeep.. although i have driven MANY CARS (my job lol) i still am stuck to pontiacs... dunno why just happens lol....

so does anyone know if a head off an 90 escort will fit on a 90 escort gt 1.9l ho , cause i cant get my hands on a head thats not cracked???
