Orig Workshop manuals

Hi there,

I'm sort of new (to this board, it is - I've been scraping my knuckles on all sorts of cars for nearly 40 years now)

I am looking for original workshop manuals (or copies of originals) for

1991 Ford Sierra XR4i 2,9 V6, 5spd manual RWD
1985 Ford Scorpio 2.0i, 5spd manual

Hope someone out there can help, since Ford won't let go of as much as an electrical diagram (morons!).

Kind regards

bigdane

Hi bigdane and welcome.

I note that you are after originals but some of the aftermarket manuals such as Haines etc are fairly good.

Howdy, yeah, well for general thing they may be OK, but the wiring diags are a mixture of a little from this year and a little from that - but thanks for the nice thought, though.

It IS quite amazing, that the big three in the US have no trouble selling their orig. w/manuals even though it is through various outlets - why the H....K can the European manufacturers not do the same - it is, unfortunately, nothing special for Ford, VAG are the same, and don't speak of Volvo or SAAB (Sorry littleFord and Baby_GMC).

One should think that the manufacturers rather would have people to do the job with proper guidance at hand, than having complaints all the time - but No Way, José - the Swedish main office for Ford even claims, that if people "cannot afford a Ford workshop, they should scrap their cars" - ain't that just a beautiful attitude??

Well, I'll just keep hoping that onebody out there's got the real MacCoy

kind regards

Sven
