passive seatbelts in a 95 ford escort - Ford Forums

this is probably a common question. how do you fix the passive seatbelts. the driver side one no longer moves. it also is stuck where it doesn't lock all the way into place. i don't know what the big deal is, but i do need to pass inspection and this is the first time they have failed me because of the seat belts. any info would be very helpful.

I have the same problem on the driver side. You would think this wold be a recall. Do to our safety.

Ditto. Ours is stuck half way along. Using the provided hex tool wouldn't budge it. If anyone figures this out I would love to learn how.

i have the same problem but alittle bit of smoke came out of mine and now i think the motor is broken or something
