I paid $250 for this 1993 Ford Escort. I want to add alot to it. More so just for something to do. It needs some work. I ofcourse want to improve its perfomance. But I'm not interested in racing. More than anything something that looks nice. Defiantly custom paint, rims, tint, sound system. Take a look any suggestions are welcome.
It currently has 180K miles on it. When I drove it felt like it needs some alignment. tie rod work. I'm just really looking for ideas on what I can do to improve it so fire away

Hello and good day:
Looks like a little body work first....lol. No serious I would start with the basics on the engine, suspension, Emission.
Replace the Timing Belt..Water Pump..Surpenine Belt.. Tranny Flush and Replace filter.. Oil change.

I hear a Tranny Flush isn't good for the car. Also should I replace the parts on the body that are rusted or can I sand them down & go through that process myself? Also what's the best way to repair smaller rust spots as there are a few throughout the car's body. I heard just sand the spot down & add putty. Is that the best way?
