Can anyone tell me how much a late model Cosworth Escort sells for in England or for that matter other parts of Europe.

I have a friend thinking of purchasing or maybe importing.

Your probably looking at anywhere from �12K to �18K depending what version, as in S1 or S2 and whether it has the LUX spec & how many miles/mods done to it.

Escort Cosworth Series 1 started in 04/92 only 3061 were produced, they were �23,495 (LUX spec)

Escort Cosworth Series 2 finished production start of 1996, 4082 produced (I think) (S2 Had smaller Garrett T25 Turbo)

I once saw one for sale, 1996, only 2000 miles having been stored for years.... wait for it.... �25K

Thnx for response EL . I passed that info on. He has been on this before but it always seems like too much cost involved. I guess he may end up buying at some stage eventually.

1996 with 2000 miles sounds sweet but 25K pounds = eek.
The cossie Escorts always get me pretty excited too.

I'm off to an all Fords day (NZ) soon so will get to see a few there I'm sure.
