speedometer problem
well for a while now, the speedometer has been acting goofy.
The speed can be reading right, then all of a sudden it'll go 5mph off or more. Sometimes it'll start swaying back and forth like a grandfather clock, it's really annoying. I can hear what sounds like the gears spinning in the gauge cluster when it does this. I started to pull the gauge cluster out and found it's cable driven instead of my other cars being electrical.
Any idea what would cause this? bad speedo cable?
