seat belts will not move-car will not crank if they are not
in place;not sure how to fix the problem, have tried the fuses.
please help-its my bro's car and mom doesnt like him using hers!!
I'm puzzled by the seatbelts being stuck.
What have you tried to unstick them.
Try to return the belt or push it back into the unit then pull it out again.

Thats odd that the seat belt wouldn't work. Have you tried taking out the seat belt and actually seeing what the deal is. I'm thinking that engine has nothing to with the belt it just a coincidence that they both went out at the time? Maybe?
