tyre pressure - Ford Forums

Hi - I'm new to this site and am very impressed.
Could any one tell me what the correct tyre pressures are for my escort 1.6 '95 ghia - its the 16 valver with efi - on standard 15 inch alloys.
It says 28 psi front and 26 psi rear on forecourt boards but I'm sure this is too soft.

Sorry for the late reply but I have been having alot of trouble logging in lately and my internet in general sux at the moment.

Those tyre pressures sound about right for average running but tyre shops that fit tyres always reccomend higher pressures so I would think 30 psi would be more realistic.
