U.S. Capri Owners.

After some info on the rack setup in american carpi's.
Is the rack on the front or back of the cross member.
Are the struts turned from the front or the rear. ( do the tie rods connect to the struts at the front or rear of the strut )

I am going to change the steering around in my capri, and put the rack on the back of my oz capri, and need to find a suitable rack to make this happen.

Info would be great, pics would be perfect.

THANX

Re: U.S. Capri Owners.

Some info here for the Perana which had the rack on the back of the cross member.

http://www.capriv8.de/perana-engl.html

Also a diagram here:

http://www.agent.co.za/capri/Perana.shtml

Looks like the crossmember reversed and then the left hand drive steering rack mounted on in place of the right hand drive rack.

This for clearance from the sump?

Regards
Ross
