your questions. I am positive that we will be able to achieve a higher state of engine tune for you via Unichip computer and dyno tuning, though how much additional power we can generate through ignition and air/fuel mixture adjustments will depend on your current state of engine tune.
what would you be expecting, i would estimate my car to be making around 240 Rwkw in its pressent state
I would certainly be prepared to see what can be achieved by Unichip tuning, obviously if we can generate more power across the entire RPM range the ute should run a quicker 1/4 mile time at a higher MPH.
do you belive that this can be done without haveing to ring it's neck on the dyno
If you seriously want to find out if the ute can run quicker, there's only one way to find out for sure and that's to give APS the ute and see what we can achieve.
if i am not happy with the results on the dyno or at the track, what cost's am i up for or is it once fitted you own it

Rod, The 13.44@107 mph is quick for the heavier ute, well done. Now to your questions.
1) Mate I never guess about power levels, one way to find out for sure, lets measure the power on the dyno (the lie detector) and find out for sure.
2) You would not believe how gentle the Unichip real time tuning method is on the engine and drivetrain, in addition we have a serious cooling fan, not a toy like you see in normal tuning shops.
3) Rod if we dont achieve a decent gain we would not deliver the car to you with the unichip in the first place, we would remove the computer and return the car to original condition. Worst case scenaro for you is you would have to pay for the install of the computer and tuning work which is approx $550. That said I am confident that we can improve the power given that you are on good 98 ron fuel and that the engine is healthy.
Rod Bottom line, there is only one way to achieve the best power result and that's to custom tune dyno your engine to squeeze every last kW from the boss, why dont you give it a go.........I believe you will be pleasantly surprised.
