I'm not having a dig at any particular car buying group here, but buyers of the 350z are normally the types who spend big buck on mods for any car they buy. Admittedly alot of them are aesthetic (that's questionable) mods but some of these guys do go nuts. Then there's the global market as well. I'd say the US market would be a monster, although I'm not sure about some of their polution regs.
I drive, I vote and I'll go out of my way to see you out of government Mr Bracks. You lied your way into power and you lie to keep it. Enough lies!!! You're out of here!

Mate that's spot on the Japanese performance car buyers do spend big bucks on performance mods, maybe it's to do with their disposable income, who knows maybe their just super keen on performance.
Your right about the global market place for the 350Z it is allready a CULT car all over the planet. It is certainly a hoot to drive with 325 kW's on tap.
hi Peter, i think if any after market Performance shop can sell a product and show that it is reliable it well sell,a good example are your XR6T kits.
the trick is to get poeple's cars before they spend on bolt on's $3k zorst, 80mmtb$650,cai $650,pulleys $600,chip $1300,Helix $300 that equalls $6500 ...
poeple are paying $10k for a blower with a intercooler with modest results....
the DJR cars are selling well enough to keep quite a few poeple very busy so there are poeple out there with the cash....
your quote of ''our lack of confidence in Ford aftermarket consumers'' is that your XR6T customers also...????

My comment regarding the lack of confidence in the Ford aftermarket consumer really relates to the 15 to 16 K price of the TT system, this is a huge chunk of cash for any consumer to part with in any single transaction.
Do you agree? Do you think many Ford BA V8 owners would be interested in a TT system at this price?

In a single transaction it is a lot, so is $60 to $80k for a car...
A TT would be a tempting choice to have though.
Just have to wait for the next property boom everyone will be running back for cash, on there equity..

An interesting generalisation... What exactly brings you to that conclusion?

Can't wait, I'll PM you my mobile number. When you have a car up and ready i'll definitely fly/drive down and have a look. Just as a comparison to another forced induction kit I was looking at... what kind of price are we looking at on the TT kit? Also any discernable turbo lag? Any chance of releasing multiple kits? maybe an up specced 400k/w kit?
I am sure that would be sweet. Also what other mods have you guys looked at? and have you done testing on the gearbox etc to see how she handles the extra power and...
Too many questions, don't want to hijack this thread(anymore then I already have) I will have to give you a call at work some time and have a chat.
At least in thoery no, they don't. In reality... well from experience that's a whole different matter.
From past experience UNICHIPS work very well if the installer knows what they are doing. I'm going to get one fitted at APS when I'm in Melb on 14th May. The unichip made a significantly noticable power improvement to my T.
Peter can you pm me with a cost for the GT, that way I can set aside some moolahs before Tania spends it all in her Melb shopping spree, tee hee
