plaz Registered User Join Date: Oct 2003 Posts: 9	unusual transmission sound... hi... my 91 escort with a 1.9 and automatic is making a "whirring" sound that goes up and down with the engine rpm's but only happens when in gear...any input as to what that might be? sounds like a noise belt or open service cover... i appreciate any input you have...thanks!!!
