What type of refrigerants is needed for a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2

I have a 2000 Ford Escort ZX2. The AC is not ice-cold now. I am considering to add some refrigerant to it. What type do I need, R134a, Freon or R12?

Thank you very much.

R134A on most vehicles after 1993.

I think it's on the filter/dryer in the right front wheel well.
