Seriously, there are a few things you can do. Better exhaust, cold air intake, performance chip. Google around for Zetec upgrades and you will be surprised.

i definately think they are worth upgrading, but i'm kinda bias due to the fact i have one and have installed aftermarket parts. i'm usually on the teamzx2 forum. if you have a zx2 and have any questions that's a good place to go. there are a lot of aftermarket parts for zx2's. and definately a good alternative to your regular (honda) FFWD sport compact car. they are a mid 15 sec car when they are stock with a good driver. they are governed at 106 due to that's all the stock tires can handle. but taking 5 min to install a switch can change that. i've gotten mine about 135. also a fun car for autox. imo i love the car. it's hella zippy. and its fun car to race against honda's. when you beat them they're like wtf kinda car is that? hit me up if you have any questions.
