07 Ford 500 Intermittent Steering Growl (low)

99,000 miles.
Intermittently, during slow speed parking maneuvers, I can hear a little bit of steering system growl. Similar sound to a power steering pump growl but much lower/softer. Doesn't happen all the time. Maybe I'll change the PS fluid and see if that helps (I doubt it has been changed).

The intermittent part is what is puzzling.

No question here. Just a remark for someone to comment on, if they have a similar issue.

there was a tsb for flushing the system with and using mercon V afterwards for a noise you could hear inside car. Otherwise you have to keep the reservoir to a bit above the full line on these sin ce the reservoir is right there on the pump creates like a vortex and sucks air. This will cause the growl noise on turns at times and after obviously.
