It's only 40 degrees here so this isn't a cold weather problem, I don't think. Earlier I went to start my car and only let it run for 2 seconds before shutting off. Don't ask why I did this, I have no idea. I went to restart my car and it would not start. The motor turns over three or four times before going silent. It has a brand new battery in it.

This is not the first time the car has had problems starting before either. It happens a lot when the was just run for a short amount of time then restarted.

Also: I had the car towed to the dealer I bought it from for this problem once before and they said nothing is wrong with the car, and after it sat in their lot for 24 hours it started perfectly.

Try holding acclerator to floor when turning engine over . That's if battery is turning engine over at normal speed .The engine should turn over more than 3/4 times if battery new and fully charged . If not check battery charge condition in case you have a drain .
