Interior lights in the 2007 five hundred will not shut off. I have noticed lately that everyonce in a while the chime that lets you know the key is in the ignition will not shut off and the interior lights will not shut off at times. I am going to check out the door switches, but I think it may be something like the JIM module in an F150. Anyone else have any ideas? It is an intermittant problem.

That chime will sound when the door is open and the key is in the ignition. I'd spray WD40 in the door latches, then close and open the doors a few times. The switch in there may be sticking.

Now I'm thinking there are two separate issues. My wife normally drives the car, so when I was driving it I noticed that when I hit the high beam switch, sometimes the interior lights would flash on the off. what is the deal?

Did you try the WD 40?
