Over the last couple years I'd been making up my mind. I was sick of the lack of excitement in Ford sedans. I had been somewhat bias towards Volvo's as they are a Ford company but also because I thought they were excellent cars. Why the Fusion couldnt have an equivalent to the S60 R (MPS6) was beyond me. Why Ford sedans were at best, mediocre in performance?

Well I must say, the name has helped excite me about this car, but the interior is absolutely amazing. It blows away the S80 V8 (what I wanted to get when I was out of college). Yes, the interior is not completely to my tastes, but this is much like my 99. I guess it wouldnt be out of line to adapt a quote to this, what is wrong with my 96-99 Taurus is more than made up by what is right with it. Same goes for here, only their is far more right and far less wrong.

I can't wait to get one of my own!

I joined this site only because of the 2010 Taurus.It's gotten under my skin...Speaking of skin, I'm hoping someone from Ford sees this.PLEASE.PLEASE!Add a medium or medium-dark gray paint choice to the list....In my mind I keep seeing myself getting into a ultra sharp gray one with a black interior.This would be my first Ford,also.

The 2010 SHO with the $37,995 base price is just too damn expensive. And slow...

365hp pulling over two tons of car will make for a good fight. It would have to be AWD for me to even consider it. 365hp going to the front wheels is a bit much for winter use.

If I read it correctly, it is AWD.

Yep, article says "the engine drives all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission that has paddle shifters"

BTW, the standard Taurus' base price is $19,739

The SHO will come Full-Tilt with the AWD, Sony/Sync, and Nav...Not bad, considering it cost about as much as an Acura TL with SH-AWD and like-wise horsepower and features.

Correction: The TL with SH-AWD has 305hp...And looks like a disjointed freakshow.
