2015 taurus, water leaking into dome lights and sunroof switches, headliner wet, took to dealership, they can't find where it was leaking, did not replace dome lighting and sunroof switches, concerned about corrosion over time, has anyone else had this problem. Also belt chirping, was replaced, keeps coming back over time. Dealership recommended in the rain don't park the car on an incline. Not happy about that.
thanks, idler pulley was changed in april, i'll get them to re check it once again. As for the drain holes.... should my warranty cover new dome lights and sunroof switches, they still work but i'm worried about corrosion at a later date. Thinking i'm not going to get anywhere with this issue.
I would say there should be some sort of compensation\repair. It's only a year old, I'm not sure how it can give you this many problems... unless you rack up mileage like I do.
problem found, kink in drain hose, possibly under dash somewhere, will find out tomorrow how they are going to get at it, belt and tensioner replaced again
kink in drain hose a pillar problem solved, so far.
